Introduction Cotton Candy understands the importance of the protection of the privacy of the personal information of individuals and the importance of security of confidential information of all types. This document sets out our policy regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal information and security of confidential information of all types, including personal and payment information. Periodically, Cotton Candy may revise this policy in order to remain current and better serve our customers, so we suggest that you occasionally review this policy.

Cotton Candy is committed to adhering to all governmental regulations, laws and mandates in the areas of internet, personal and business privacy.

Purposes of Collection, Use and Disclosure of Personal Information Cotton Candy collects, uses, stores and discloses personal information of Cotton Candy sales associates, clients and customers only as necessary to operate Cotton Candy, and to provide services to Cotton Candy's sales associates, clients and customers. Operation of Cotton Candy includes, but is not limited to, the following activities: processing orders, payment of orders and deliveries to clients and customers, and compiling statistics for analytical and client reporting purposes.

Disclosure of personal information Cotton Candy will disclose personal information only if consent is given in writing by the relevant individual or; to businesses that assist Cotton Candy in operating Cotton Candy and in providing services to Cotton Candy sales associates, clients and customers; when permitted or required by law, such as in response to a subpoena or other legal process; to a purchaser of all or part of Cotton Candy's business; or to meet legal obligations such as tax and regulatory reporting.

Accountability Cotton Candy has designated a Privacy Compliance Officer to handle privacy matters and inquiries regarding personal information.

Protecting and Destruction of Confidential Information Cotton Candy protects confidential information of all types, including personal information, with organizational, physical, mechanical and electronic safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. Basic order details defined by; Client Name, Organization/Corporation, billing and shipping address, body of order will be kept on-file in both hard and soft copy for seven (7) years as governed by Ontario law.

Sensitive order details defined by: payment methods (credit card, either business or personal) are destroyed both in hard or soft formats as soon as payment is processes – typically within six (6) hours of order receipt.
